I was considering Meprolight Trudot sights for my Glock. How do they appear during the day? Do actually look green, perhaps like a fiber optic on a cloudy day? Or do they only really appear green at night? Thank you.

Green glow only at night/low-light, off-white dot during the day.

You may be thinking of the TRUGLO TFO sights:

They are green, day or night.

The Tru-Glos look good. If they also come in yellow/green, they might be worth looking at. I bought two sets of Mep Tru Dots for my matched set of Gen 2 G22s. I went with green front and yellow rear, and I am very happy with them. Very easy to acquire in daylight, unlike most of the other night sights I have seen. And the yellow/green combo works FAR better in low/limited light or total darkness, than the usual green/green.
