I am. My return was accepted Feb 5th. I had to file by mail since I had some documentation that needed to go with the form. I've checked the "Where's my refund" website and it's given me 4 different dates, two of which have passed and one of which is today. Right now, it just says my return is being processed. I've tried their phone "service," but that's just a seemingly endless automated system providing you with information you don't need or already know.

Is anyone else still waiting (after filing a while ago)? Has anyone had any luck in getting someone on the phone who knows something?

I wish. I just sent in a check to the IRS. There goes about a dozen nice new guns.

A friend was telling me yesterday that she has been waiting for a refund, with no word from the IRS.
Turns out the refund was already in her bank account.

Nope. I haven't sent them the check yet. Trying to time my mailing since the 15th is on a Sunday.

I haven't seen a refund in years. Even with 2 kids and a mortgage, I send a nice check.

Great. I finally found a number to call that got someone on the line. She told me my refund was selected randomly to do a detailed check. They waited two fricking months after my return was received to do that? She told me it was going to take up to 60 days. Un-fing-believable.

Change your withholdings dude if you're getting big refunds each year. Don't give them an interest free loan.

<---still waiting on the final results, but preliminary indications from the owe big, owe some, or don't owe more than planned are in the don't owe category.

I amended my '09 and '10 taxes back in late January and still haven't heard anything. I contacted the accountant that helped me and he said with ammended taxes it can take up to 3-4 months. I filed my '11 taxes electronically and had that taken care of within 8 days.
