thinking of building a second upper. It will get a lpvo mounted. I like having a backup sighting system. So my options are folding sights and a quick detach mount or the offset irons. Are these easy to aquire and shoot consistently? Looking for feedback on these options.

Seems jerry miculek has no problems using offsets and darn fast too if i may add. Depending on the lpvo you choose it may be a very tight fit for a folding sight under the bell.

My off-set irons seem to always hit left of point of aim. Maybe I should have stuck with the blades.

They’re viable for 3 gun. I personally don’t care for them. I have 2 uppers with low power variables. I use quality QD mounts by Larue and ADM and flip up buis.

For a red dot that doesn't require dismounting the optic, traditional sights. For a LPVO, offsets make a lot of sense, just be sure to train enough with them.

I have them on my Ruger MPR. Fun having both options available at the range.
