Kind of an esotertic subject, but I've been considering getting one of his books on theoretical physics. Heady stuff, but I've seen him on TV and he seems to have a colorful way of explaining his theories, while remaining accesible to a layperson. Any recommendations? Any similar authors you know?

I have read Hyperspace and Visions by him. Pretty good books if you are into that type of reading. I do have Parallel Worlds and Physics of the Impossible on my shopping list.

Not yet, but I see that happening!

He once took a question from me on Coast to Coast, and commented that it was an "intelligent question"...

I actually received a letter once, from Carl Sagan... I still have it.
