It seems like all the G30 owners ALSO own a G21, which does not fit me well. I love the G30 size though.

I might be missing something but after shooting P220s and 1911s, the G21 isn't on my list of wants.

I'm with you on this one. Very happy with my G30SF but the G21 just doesn't seem to feel right. BTW, it's the same with the 9mm - have 2 G19s but no G17.

I have owned my G30 for the past 11 years. About 8 years ago I bought a G21. Since, I have decided to only keep the handguns that I can use for CCW. The G21 was a little difficult for me to conceal so I sold it.

I am thinking later I might get back into hunting so that handgun will have a specific use as well.

    I own a G30 and do not own a G21.

The considerable increase in size was not worth the slight increase in capacity, imho.

I also have a G30 but no G21; the G21 seems a bit big for me.

30sf here, no 21. Size and weight diff doesnt outweigh the capacity bonus.

Yep! 23 on duty and the 30sf for off duty.

I own a G30SF 45ACP, as does my girlfriend, but neither of us owns a G21.

I've shot the Gen3 and Gen4 Glock 21 for hundreds of rounds each and love the G21 (more so the Gen4 G21 over Gen3), but have not been tempted to own one (money is not the reason). By way of full disclosure, I'm not a handgun collector and I don't hunt with a handgun, so that may be part of the reason.

I'm completely satisfied with the G30SF. Click the G30SF 45ACP link in my sig line for the reasons.

I own both a G30SF and a G21SF. I also own a g36. My CCW gun is the G30SF/G36 Hybrid. I like the G21, but the G30 is a better CCW gun for the average person AND you can use G21 mags if you'd like the 3 extra rounds.

Had a G30SF, but it had problems and got swapped out for a G20SF. I'm very happy with the swap, but I'll be adding another G30SF without a doubt. Between the 30 and the 21 I vote 30, and if you want to add a G21 consider the G20SF instead. It makes more sense to me anyhow. You get excellent power (much better for hunting than a 45ACP), and high capacity with the G20(sf).

I'm the opposite - I own a G21 but no G30. I did own a G30 at one time, but didn't experience G17-level reliability. Maybe it was me, maybe it was the gun. I traded the G30, and later found myself buying a nice, used Gen3 G21 (giving the Glock 45ACP concept another chance). The G21 proved to be a winner for me, and I've occasionally carried it in uniform on my second job with full confidence. For reasons having nothing to do with the G21, I went back to carrying my favored Gen2 G17 for both agencies I serve.

The G21 is a superior uniform duty gun. It is reliable, durable (+P, all day, no problem), environment-proof, and powerful (45ACP 230gr, x14, out of a 4.5"bbl). The weapon's size is of no issue in a Safariland ALS duty holster.

I MIGHT give the G30 another chance at some point. I'm thinking G30SF, perhaps. I'd also love to own a Gen4 G21, but have no place for it in my current rotation.

I have a G30 and a G21 that I recently did some major grip redux on. It now feels like a stippled G22. I like my 30 for warm weather CCW, but when jacket weather rolls around, its tough to beat that big ol'.45 with 14 rounds on board and 13 more in a spare mag.

I've always said, if going into combat, the sidearm I'd choose would be the mighty 21.

I just sold my P220 Elite and bought a G30 with some of the proceeds. I don't have a G21. I don't care for the full size models anymore. I like the compacts and subs. I have a G26 as well and can shoot both the 26 and 30 as well as I can shoot anything else. P220 Elite was a really really nice gun though. It was not an easy give.

Call me crazy but when I tried shooting a G21 and a G17 it shot fairly low for me. I couldn't see my impact. The 26 and 30 shoots right where I want it and I can see the impact.

    No G21, just a G30 with a few G21 mags.

The 21 did not fit me well. However, the 21SF was a very good fit. The 21SF became my new house gun. Afterwards, I got the 30SF, which is my favorite .45acp, now.

I own a Glock 30. I just like the compact size. I have had it for about 8 years. The thought of getting a 21 never cross my mind but I did get a 20.

I just purchased a G30SF today, but do not own a G21. The only other Glock I own is gen 3 G17.
