Private Message me and I'll give you the details. Let me know how much it is to ship/mail it.
Hopefully you haven't sold it yet. It looks like a great read.
It IS a great read. In any version. KJ? NIV? NKJ?
I've primarily used RSV and NRSV but apparently this is the "Holman Christian Standard Bible" version. That is the publisher, from the best I can tell it is also the translation version.
So does that mean I get it? Happy New Year!
I've been innundated with requests from this and another website. I'm actually shocked at the response I've received. I'm trying to figure out who gets it.
It should probably go to someone that has been a great influence in your life and who has guided you through the difficult teen years and who mentored you through your EMS and fire careers. Someone that was there for you as you added more and more strobe lights to your car. Someone that spent hours with you hiding out at station 4 when you were supposed to be out running speed traps. You know, someone like that!
J/K. Save it and give it to someone that really needs it one day.
Yeah, that's who I was thinking about!
obxemt: you should give it to your Deputy Chief. He sounds like a great Chief Officer and mentor; probably to many.
Happy New Year!
That's one way to put it...
He's no longer my Deputy Chief, but he'll always be the Deputy Chief of my heart.
Who gets the Bible?
I'll welcome it with open arms, see??
It wasnt that funny!
You're right, it wasn't that funny.
Hey, I'm going to Tennessee the first week of March, you want to go?
Now THAT was funny.
I hope everyone from Tennessee that reads this sends you hate mail.
Now THAT would be funny!
This coming from a religous man.....Sheeeesh!
No matter what I do in my contemplative, prayerful and Godly lifestyle, I still can't shake my cutting sense of humor. Is that a bad thing or a blessing?
I hope your not asking me that question!
