(This is open for anybody not just racers or fast guys)

Twice a year the speedway is open to bikes for racing. The thursday prior to the races is sponsored by Team Hammer racing and open to trackday riders. I've done this twice and let me tell you nothing compares to riding Daytona. I'll be going back in October. If you want to find the limit of your nerve and your bike this is the place. This coincides with the AMA round during bike week and the ASRA/CCS round at Biketoberfest.

The first time out you must take the Team Hammer race school. Regardless of your pace they have a group for you. After that you are free to return and ride in the open trackday. As far as trackdays and rider schools go it's very affordable. I've seen guys on bmws and hayabusas out there but of course it's more suited to sportbikes. This is the ONLY trackday at Daytona. If interested sign up at
    Team Hammer

October is coming up fast. Even if you don't ride come out and see some phenomenal racing. There is also a three hour endurance race ALL v-twins for the thumper crowd. Great fun.

The infield is being moved yet again but this will give an idea of the layout.
