Anyone have experience with the Honda Fury?

I managed to kill my Honda VTX 1300 with the help of a deer. Now I’m looking hard at Honda’s Fury. I was wondering if anyone has any hands on experience or an opinion on the Fury.

Thanks, Tim

Too much plastic, sounds weak, looks wimpy in person. IMO if you want something along the lines of the Fury, get a Yamaha/Star Raider. Real steel fenders, bigger/beefier look, sounds great, very powerful 113ci motor.
I agree. Raiders are very cool. But I haven't seen the new fury in person yet.

That's not you Raider, is it? I recognize that bike, it belongs to a well known poster on the Raider forums in SoCal.

No, his pictures are what sold me on a Raider though. (its my wallpaper) I bought a raven and have been working on getting it there. I am really impressed with the bike so far. I have been riding for a lot of years and this is the best bike I have owned.
I'm pretty sure my next bike will be a Harley, but I'm still considering both the Raider and Roadliner. Raider looks like crap with a windshield though, and I've become well accustomed to having one on trips where I'm spending more than 10-15 minutes on the freeway. To be honest, it's pretty much a barhopper. But, it's a great value for what you get, and I like the way it looks (except for the OEM front fender, which looks silly IMO, but one of the Raider forums guys makes nice ones out of steel)
