Looking to buy one. I always get a stainless lonewolf RSA for my Glocks I've owned in the past. Currently they're not producing one and probably not in the near future either. Does anyone have experience with RYG parts like their stainless RSA? Looks pretty legit. Let me know please if you guys recommend them.

    Thanks!

I just do, and always have. I like having all steel rsas on my old MPs, and XDs. Ive swapped out the polymer RSA on my SIG's too. I know It doesn't give me any better performance. i Just don't care for polymer internals. Gives me a added peace of mind.

I thought I remembered reading more failures of aftermarket guide rods over factory. That's my concern

When I first acquired a Gen 4 G19 two years ago, I bought a stainless RSA from Lone Wolf. It went in the trash after one range trip. Continuous malfs

Why didn't you just send it back?

More hassle than it was worth.
Stopped buying from them as well, Brownells is cheaper for OEM parts.

About the only internal modification that I make on my Glocks is the rsa. I've always had great luck with Wolff blackened s.s. rsas, but they do have uncaptured springs. Most folks don't like those springs but I prefer them. Now, why do I put a metal rsa in a Glock? I guess just to be different.

Personally I get Glocks due to their reputation for being the AK of pistols. Their reliability is that good. I don't see it smart changing such an important piece of the puzzle as the RSA.

I have always had stock RSAs in my G17 since 1989.
