Anyone got the Thompson conversion for the Ruger 10-22 yet?

    Anyone get one of the ruger 10-22 Thompson conversions yet..and if so how did ya like it..im wanting to get something tacticool but fun to shoot and that looked cool without breaking the bank(assuming I can get a used 10-22 for under $100 or around $100)

    Have the M1 version parts, but have not had a chance to put it all together yet.

    how complicated is it..they make it SEEM like any idiot(me) could do it but thats seldom the case when they make things seem so simple lol.

    I'll be getting to it in about two weeks, I think. Other projects to get out of the way first.

    That is sweet. I may have to put one of those kits on my list. I assume it functions as any normal 10-22, looks like the receiver sits inside the thompson "housing", yes?

    I wanted to get one of those new fangles M4/AR platform looking ones..but then I saw that kit and if you had a cheap(used) 10-22 to add it would be around the same price those black rifle looking .22's are and I just think the Thompson is so much cooler...especially with the drum mag :)

    .....Dang.. That is slick. Just hard to justify on my budget right now. Way high on the "cool factor" though.......

    Of all of the 10/22 dress up kits that has to be the coolest looking ones! :wow: About how much time does it take to put it all together?

    That looks very cool! And I think you will have a much better rifle than the current crop of M4's, MP5's and other tacticool .22's out now.
