anyone got a good online store for fishing tackle????

    its camping and fishing time , and i got a bunch of rods and reels , but looking to get some more lol , anyone got a unknown good store or place thats reasonable besides ebay, dicks, ???

    fishing reels have gone thru the roof in prices . ive checked craigslist and i did pick up a penn 109 at yard sale for 5 bucks lol . that was a steal .

    i got enough penn reels , looking for saltwater tackle.

    Did you post your thread in the hunting and fishing forum? I once got some good detailed advice about scented lures in that forum.

    Bass Pro has some good deals at times. As does Cabela's. For name-brand (specifically Yum and Booyah) I've yet to find better than lurenet.com

    Hope I don't get flamed for saying this, but....

    Both of the Walmarts in my town have pretty decent fishing sections. The rest of the sporting goods departments are weak, but the fishing sections at both stores carry almost everything I need. And the prices are usually 25 to 50% less than Dick's or Bass Pro.

    No flame. My Walmart took a 3 aisle fishing section down to half an aisle last year. Of course, they can't do ship with it being half salt-water, half fresh and stuff like a pile of catfish supplies. ???? This is Massachusetts, not the deep south. Had they stocked it to the region, they'd have sold more, I think.
