The guys that live in SW OH have it pretty good. They are in close proximity to Middletown where AIM Surplus is located. Then there is Hamilton, home of Jungle Jims. Then there is the quaint community of Seven Mile. SW OH is a nice area to live.

I wish we had a place like that down here. If my wife and I ever get to move to Dayton, I know where a nice range is now.

James, you should definitely move to Dayton, so I can come shoot your 1911s and ARs.

That would be such a good plan Paul. If the property values ever increase enough to make some money on selling the house, we would be moving in a heartbeat.

Don't move to Dayton! There are plenty of better places in Cinci.

The range does look nice, and they shoot a lot of different competitions there, which I would like to get into. I plan on going when I get my gun back! Maybe starting with Saturday Steel and then USPSA maybe.

I have been a member at the MR&PC for 10 years and most of the folks there are great. A few dirtbags that leave a mess, but all in all a great place to shoot. I can tell you first hand the guys that run the bowling pin, practical pistol , and DCM rifle matches are great. The steel guys I have talked to also seem like a good group.
Come on over and see what you think!

I will, if my schedule allows me. The problem is, I don't want to pay the $250 for membership, to find out I don't like the competitions and I just wasted a lot of money! I asked on the forums and they said to start with steel as it's open to non-members, as well as bowling pins.

    Guess we'll see...

Practical pistol is also open to nonmembers! I thunk the first match is free still... They do that just to rope you in to the sport. I think steel is a bit less equipment intensive to start with.

I am from SE (pretty close to you Buckeye), it seems like all the guns are sold in the other three corners of the state in the classifieds. Everytime I see something that I like I realize it is a three hour drive. I might just move to columbus when I get out so I can purchase firearms in the GT Classifieds more easily lol.

and I was just down by your neck of the woods for five months in 2009 jrs93accord, I wish I could have stopped by to see the collection. I have to admit I am bit envious of your collection.
