    i,m from the city but haven't gone back for a long time. don't miss the batchoy in la paz or the various delicacies like pancit molo, kansi, kadyos (kbl), and other treats like panaderia de molo.

    your local hosts can do the rest! :wavey:

    there's a new place somewhere in jaro district, its called peri todd's, check it out. from what ive read from this site click, nightlife usually revolves around a place called smallville click, they've got clubs there (called discos in my time) restos etc., btw read the blog archives on the site, its very informative.

    as for food, explore this site click, on the right side there's a list called "eats in iloilo", just click the word or food and all the info regarding the place or food will appear.

    special mention,

    breakthrough = scallops, aligi rice, sizzling crabmeat and also talaba, my wife really loves their live and huge tiger prawns.

    tatoys = native grilled chicken.

    allan's talabahan = baked talaba's.

    peri todd's = hamburgers click

    afriques = pizza, pasta, italian also joey's pepperoni.

    biscocho haus = pasalubong, buttersctoch etc.

    kansi haus = kansi, ilonggo version of beef shank soup, w/ a ton of bone marrow.
