I have several R/C airplanes and I need to get my rear moving as the nice weather is fast approaching. Hope this doesn't lose anyone, but the R/C-savvy will know what I'm talking about... Currently I have a Great Planes UCD-3D/Saito .91, got over 100 flights last summer. A little beat up, but still flies good as new. GC is WAY back I also have a Wild Hare 28% scale Edge 540, 84" span, I need to get servos and a DA-50 for propulsion. Hope to have it done mid summer. I had a Hangar 9 Funtana 90 with a Saito 100, the thing flew great but was a little underpowered. Shoul've put a larger engine in it. Currently I really really want Goldberg's new Monster Pitts S-12 - gorgeous airplane!! Everything's controlled with a Futaba 9C - man, I love this thing! Anyone else do the R/C thing? I'm a little poor to fly the full size thing, though my dad has a 172 that he joint-owns with 4 other guys. He's had his private pilot's license for a couple of years now. I will have to get some right-seat time in that this summer!
