Much like FullClip, I dig one out once in a while...Back in 1970, I played guitar in a descent garage band... We wore a lot of those songs right down to the nub!! Different place and different time, but it’s still good to listen and remember!!! Especially the teenage girls..lol.
I like the old stuff and a lot of the Neo-Psychedelic Rock as well... Brian Jonestown Massacre, House of Fire, Tame Impala, Black Angels, even Beck have some great sounds. Spotify and Apple Music have some really good compilations.
"Anger, he smiles,
Towering in shiny metallic purple armour
Queen Jealousy, envy waits behind him
Her fiery green gown sneers at the grassy ground
Blue are the life-giving waters taken for granted,
They quietly understand
Once happy turquoise armies lay opposite ready,
But wonder why the fight is on
But they're bold as love, just as bold as love
Yeah, they're bold as love
Just ask the axis
My red is so confident that he flashes trophies of war,
And ribbons of euphoria
Orange is young and full of daring,
But very unsteady for the first go round"
Proud child of the 60s. YouTube has been great for finding old and obscure music. My mom wasn’t a fan and a lot of my records went missing. My kids love it too. Their dig my old stuff and keep me up on new bands.
