My wife and myself are in our late seventies and we got our shots last week. Regards to all at GT and you have to be very careful out there.

Ah the dreaded GG in the Butt cheek. Had before every deployment. The worst part!

Next week is my plan. I have some domestic travel coming up in Oct and want it doing its thing before I start my trip.

If the world is falling apart in Jan Feb I will consider a booster or just take a couple months off and hunker down. At 550 hours vacation and 250 hours of sick time so I could sit out for 20 weeks + if I need to. :)

Got the Flu shot two days ago at work.
Still abit sore and fuzzy - as shots always make me feel poorly and feverish for a day or two....

I'm going to get mine at a local Publix grocery store. They give a $10 gift certificate and take Tricare insurance. My wife still has Navy clinic use, but uses Publix, too. Getting $10 is nice.

End of this month or the beginning of next month. One does not want to get the vaccine too soon.

True about too soon- my doctor recommended Sept 15 at the earliest. It will take a couple weeks to build up immunity and taking the shot too soon could leave you more vulnerable at the end of the flu season.

My work usually hands them out for free.

I assume they'll do it again this year.

    I got mine 9/17/2020 -

So all you guys that have never been in a major car crash (or had the flu) - I guess you don't need to wear your seatbelt (or get a flu shot)!

My insurance company nags me to get one and they pay for it. I do not think I have had the flu in my 68 years.
