anyone using these, do they work the science seems sound.
I used one for a couple weeks. It was very uncomfortable. It would make me salivate and because it was hard to swallow with it in I would end up choking on my spit. I got ri of it, started exercising and eating right, and the snoring went away.
Yes, but as mentioned it's hard to sleep with mouthguard type.
It usually falls out as well.
Maybe the chin strap thing I saw might work, it holds your mouth shut, but it's 60 bucks I believe.
It would be cheaper to fashion you own sling to keep your mouth closed.
I tried one. It stopped the snoring but it held my mouth open and my tounge would dry out like old bread.
Tried everything made. Nose strips, sprays, etc. etc. Snored like a bear. Had a sleep study, have SERIOUS obstructive apnea. Almost 46 events per hour, with o2 stats dropping to 60 while I had a 84 second pause.
CPAP installed, took three weeks to get used to...NO SNORING. Actually get the DEEP SLEEP now.
I know it's a pain, and not very romantic. However, sleep is most important. Now that my wife can sleep maybe I can talk her into a new gun!!!
