If you liked "Heat," you will love this film. I rented it last night and I was blown away! I'm not usually one for car chase and heist movies, since they're usually terrible (i.e., 'the Fast and the Furious'), but this one was so tense it was tough to fall asleep afterwards.

Its beautifully filmed, and Ryan Gosling's performance is so understated but enormously powerful. Probably one of my favorite films in the last year. See it!

I thought it sucked. The script was terrible. Action scenes were good. Others I have talked to about this movie also thought it sucked.

    I agree.

This is one of the worst films I've ever seen in my life. If you like this film be sure to rent "Run Ronnie Run" and "Rubber"

Was very dark. I would say I agree, its dark along the lines of Heat but not as good as heat.

Definitely. If you cut out all the scenes where all the guy is doing is glaring at somebody, you've maybe got 30 minutes of film left.

I liked it enough to buy it on Blu-ray.
I wish there was more character development for the Driver though. I mean he goes from driving around crooks to stomping some dude's brains all over in no time. I wish they would have delved into his rage just a little bit more. I would like to know how he got that way.

I think it would make a great drinking game movie. Every time he smirks, you drink; every time he grins - 2 drinks; full blown smile - 3 drinks.

You'll be drunk in half an hour and you'll be passed out long before the movie is over.

"Drive" was a good movie. Sometimes it doesn't take big budget to make a good movie.

A terrible film and painful to sit through.

The stretches of silence were aweful and the acting seemed piss-poor.

    POS if you ask me...

It's a good movie. Now, it's not tied up all in a little bow like a Michael Bay or Jerry Bruckheimer production... It's more of an art movie, with a 70's feel, and 80's feel to the soundtrack.
