Or know of a good resource for explaining all the various terms? The manufacturer documentation is about worthless. :steamed: Along the lines of "VUI: Turns VUI on or off" Seriously? WTH is VUI, what does it do, and how do I optimize it?

That and all the other gazillion settings. My Google-fu is weak tonight since all I found was "1. Plug in the camera. 2. Run the wizard."

You would think you could plug into it with a cross over CAT 5 cable, open your web browser and enter a default IP address, something like 192.168.0.1 and a page would load to take your through a set up? May have to put your computer in the same IP domain. Thats the way ours work. The documentation should have at least a default IP.

Configure em so that they're pointing at the stuff you're interested in seeing.
