Anybody know a good source for Glock 31C preban mags?

  1. Looking for 17 rounders, doesn't have to be factory originals.
  2. I could be wrong, but I think the .357sig round came about after Klintons Brady bill came into effect. Hence no pre-ban hi-caps
  3. If your looking for a 17 rounder, i assume you want a Glock 22 mag with a +2 extension. Might want to check out CDNN or the Classified ads on GT.
  4. Ya it would have to be a factory OR aftermarket preban for the 22 or whatever the full size sig 357 was back then, but it has to be flush fitting, not one that sticks out. I would be satisfied with a 15 rounder if there are no flush fitting 17 rounders available.
  5. As far as I know, there are no 17 rounders, just the 15 that fit flush. For Glocks i wouldn't trust anything besides Glock mags.
  6. Pardon my lack of sleep. Staying up for 20 something hours tends to screw up your thinking process a little bit ;4

Forgot that the .40 mags will accept the .357 sig rounds ;9
  7. There is no such thing as a "pre-ban" magazine for any Glock chambered in .357 Sig.

Keeping in mind that Glock .357 and .40 pistols can use the same magazines, you'll want to look for some Glock .40 pre-ban mags.

    New, they are frightfully expensive.

    Would suggest you go to:
http://www.cdnninvestments.com to look at used mags. About $70 each.

You'll want the G22 mags, of course.
  8. You can convert a preban FML Glock 22 to be perfectly identical to a LE / Gov't Glock 31 magazine. All you have to do is swap out the followers.

Normally, this isn't even necessary, as I've had no problems at all using unmodified Glock 22 preban FML magazines in my Glock 31.

Now, if you have Glock 22 preban NFML magazines, you may experience nosedives with the shorter rounds.
