I was looking at mounts like these:

I'd like to mount a big flashlight on a shotgun -- something several times brighter than those 50 Lumen weapon lights, like a Streamlight TL-3.

I think it'd be nice to have something that could also fit on the Glock rail, just so I could stick it on there if I felt like it. I'm not sure if I'd ever choose a Glock over a shotgun in any of the situations I'd use a weapon light, and the big light would be pretty unwieldy on a pistol, but honestly I just think it'd be cool to have a 200 Lumen light on a Glock.

So does anybody have any experience getting a flashlight mount for 1" diameter tubes onto a Glock rail?

The Streamlight TL-3 Xenon light puts out 211 lumens for 1 hour not just 50 lumens. The barrel is 3/4" diameter. CLICK HERE

I think you missed the comma in my sentence. I was referring to the TL-3 as being several times brighter than a 50-lumen light. It has about 162 actual Lumens according to flashlightreviews.com. Streamlight's specs page says it has a 0.9" wide body.
