Who else would prefer a Glock Style white outline rear sight on the Sig P365?

While I can live with the green dot front sight on my Sig P365 because it's similar in fashion to the Glock's front sight with just about the same sized simple dot, the back sight leaves a lot to be desired. Available aftermarket replacement sights are NOT bold like the Glock rear white outline. I'm almost tempted to just paint a white outline onto the back sight. The problem is that the small green dots are in the way and I'd have to paint over them. It would probably not look clean, and the white paint will permanently destroy the rear sight. (which isn't good for resale.)

Anybody else painted the back sight? I'd like to hear about it or see it.

I'd like the Glock sight picture on all my pistols. I find them very fast and probably more accurate than 3 dots with my aging eyes.

Not me. I don’t even have “Glock rear outline” sights on my Glock’s....

I like the Glock sight but being plastic is a no go for me. I have a set of glock metal sights and those are nice. The glock night sights are just the dot system.

Agreed. I am not a big fan of Glock's basic sights. I like the 365's X-ray sights. It might be nice to have a hint more color/boldness around the dots in daylight (white/orange, etc.), but I like the 365 dots, and don't have any need to change them.

I am not a fan of the goal-post rear sight.

I dont like Glock sights. They have no business being on a pistol in that price range.

So I disagree with almost all of the OPs opinions in almost all of the threads he starts.

But I thought I’d do an illustration of how turrible the idea of a Glock rear on a P365 would be.

Behold, for your viewing displeasure! :D

I stand by my opinion that the Glock rear outline on a P365 is a turrible idea from a practical shooting standpoint.

From my opinion as a semi-decent practical shooter...
    1. There’s a reason why most iron sight competitors go for as unobtrusive of a rear sight picture as possible.
    2. Who looks at the rear sight anyway?
    3. If you can’t present arms and get the front sight post in the notch with your eyes closed, practice more.

So I stand by my opinion that the white rim is a turrible idea and not even useful if you have good mechanical index on a firearm.

I much prefer the X-ray sights or others over the factory Glock style.

I just bought a P365. Damn, what a great pistol. Lets just leave her alone.

I love the X Ray sights on my P365, and have always hated the factory Glock sights. I personally don't plan to change a thing on my P365, yet the factory sights are the first thing to get tossed on any Glock I have ever owned.

    Short version... No way!

id rather have real sights made of metal instead of plastic dovetail fillers and much prefer a plain black rear with high visibility front.
