looking at a Caddy anybody have one SUV style?
I drive a sedan, a 1997 Seville SLS.
Desperately trying to sell it. Which should tell you all you need to know.
The only Cadillac ever interested in me with the CTS wagon. Efff them for discontinuing it.
I have a CTS 3.6 Sportwagen. AWD. I love it.
Not many of those on the road.
Owned the Cadillac CTS-V, and when serviced I had the XT-5 as a loaner. Overall caddy nice but felt it was a little under-powered...when we were shopping for an SUV for my wife, we really liked what Mercedes offered and we leased her the GLC 43 AMG...she loves it...if you have not driven the Mercedes (even the non-AMG) variations, give it a go.
no Mereceds dealership within 200 miles of where I live in the boonies of West Texas
That stinks, I am in Schertz, TX and we have four MB dealerships within 60 miles...go figure...
Been test driving the XT5 today - all with the V6 - incredibly impressive vehicle! We test drove 3 different ones today. I was surprised at how awesome they are. Would not buy one with the 4-banger. Go for the 3.6L V-6.
I drove a small Caddy SUV rental last week from College Station, Texas back to the Kansas City area. About a 10 and a half hour drive. Wouldn't have it up my rear end if I had room for a saw mill. (can I say that on here?)
Own a '19 XT-5. Luxury trim level.
The power folding mirrors are not automatic.
The seats are heated but not cooled.
You have to wait about 45 seconds after starting if you want the directional lines on the rear camera.
Zero problems. A little more road noise than I like.
The rear seat reminder will chime with the slightest of weight.
Ample power. AWD works great. Paddle shifting is fun.
I hate start/stop and no way to disable.
Love the heated steering wheel and will now have one for the rest of my life.
Fuel economy is so-so but I drive it pretty hard when I get in. Real fun to drive.
Daughter has CTS-V and loves it. She's had it 7 or 8 years. We tand to keep vehicles for their useful life. She Wont let me drive it at all. Shes ticked because they dropped the laurel wreath on the hood emblem. Does look goofy without it.
My wife had a STS some years back and loved it, except she said it was posessed. It kept having problems like it was a prototype rather than a production unit. It really was a nice comfortable hot rod.
My wife has had Cadillacs for years. She currently drives a '20 XT6 and loves it. It has all the bells and whistles and has the 360* camera stuff. Interesting. We have had no problems with it and we both enjoy driving it. For what it's worth, this is the 4th Cadillac in the last quite a few years. She strayed from the brand for about 2 years with foreign luxury brand and quickly came back. Her list goes something like this: CTS, ATS, CT6, AT6. Had no major issues with any of them. All, but the CT6 were purchased new.
Wife had a CTS burnt orange hand painted pin stripes. Beautiful car and she loved it. I didn't fit, my head rubbed the headliner and my knee rubbed the center console. Didn't matter how I adjusted the seat just couldn't make it comfortable.
I have a CTS-V Sedan and love it, looking to pick up a wagon soon.

Great info dudes, we are looking at the Black/siege base model 2019 XT5 it is new and still on the lot with 68 miles and they are taking $9100 off and We getting 2.80% financing at the local credit union
I really like the 4/50000 warranty too
Gm had a 60 month, 0% deal when we bought my wife's Caddy. Has that offer been discontinued?
I used to build the XT5 and XT6. They are built in Spring Hill TN. If anything is wrong with your doors don't blame me!
