I have one and the instuctions aren't very detailed. Can any body help.
The nut driver? Which front sight?
My bad, it's the instalation tool. My aunt gave it to me the other day. I thought the paper said removal tool. I just re read it and it says instalation tool. It's been a long day lol.
So you're installing a front sight that's held on with a screw?
If it's the older style staked-on front sight, just grab it with a pliers and tear it off. LOL
Can you post pic's of it ?
We got it figured out offline. A relative found a front sight staking tool at an auction and got it for him since it said Glock on it.....dontcha love it?
Does anyone know if Glock still makes/sells the staked on type front sights? Or have they switched completely to the screw on types?
Thanks again butch!!!!
That!! I thought it said removal tool. I later found out it's an instalation tool. Scc I sent a pm.
the GNS they put on my 26 was staked on type ...
The new screw-on Glock sights are great. Much bigger screw than Trij or Meps, and it goes all the way through to the top. Pretty easy to put a dab of Loc-Tite on a toothpick and get it down the hole before seating the screw. I'm a big fan, especially since they are cheaper than most of the other brands.
sgtlmj, Is that a steel screw-on front sight? I've been looking for a Glock steel front sight that screws on but haven't been able to find one, just the stake on type and they're out of stock.
Thanks, any info would be appreciated.

They also have non-factory screw on sights there plus some over at: http://glockparts.com/Products.aspx?CAT=697
Thanks Nakanokalronin, I thought about the Ameriglo that they show on the glockparts link but I want to see if I can get the actual Glock steel screw on first. They list it in the '09 armorer's manual. I think I'll give Glock a call on Monday.
