Starting to do some serious walking to get myself back in shape and my current shoes aren't gettin it. My shins kill me everytime I go out. I know some of this will go away as I get more used to the hard road surface and going the distance at a quick pace but still think better shoes would help. Any suggestions on a good walking/running shoe.

    Thanks

    - I would get a new shoes

first thing you need to is figure out how you walk lol then you can figure out what type of shoe will fit you best...or just get the opposite of what you currently use...if you currently have a flexible, cushioned shoe, with a soft midsole then make sure to get the opposite...

-make sure you stretch before you walk and you might want to change the surface you walk on...try going to a high school or jr high track to walk around

Get fitted for the right type of shoe. A running store if you can find one where you live would be best. Otherwise you can find instructions online.
