I love to buy and trade handguns but the shipping is killing me! Are there any sellers in SC? Seems like all the sellers are in every state BUT SC!

I'm in SC TJS but in the same boat as you. Too bad we're not in the DFW area. I've never seen so many friggin' guns for sale as I have in that area.

I got a couple good deals from "The Pontificator".
IMHO there are not enough firearm-savvy people in our beloved state to impact a large volume of selling/trading :( .

Hey guys I'm from Chester S.C. and I'm stationed in Killeen TX. I come home about every 3 mos. or so. I'd probably come home more often if I had a good reason. I can Get GLOCKS really cheap from the armorer in Corperas cove. G20C/night sights $534 including tax. G32/ night sights 489 including tax. Military discount. Only 2 or so hours from dfw. E mail me if you think you might want me to pick something up 4 u. I can spring for it til I get home. Pay me then..

I too have noticed there are very few firearms listed for sale in South Carolina. I wonder why that is?
Maybe we like to keep 'em when we get 'em?
Everyone but you TJS. LOL ;a ;a ;a

But why I am at it, does anyone have a Marlin 1894 in 357/38 they would like to sell in the upstate?

Buying and selling guns with the direct intention of resale without a FFL will get you FEDERAL TIME!

Where did you get that interpretation of the law?
If one buys several weapons, shots them some, and then moves them along, making or not making a buck in the process, one will not be in any kind of legal trouble unless selling to someone who couldn't have one ( convicted felons, wifebeaters etc ).
In the same manner, if you DO have a "home FFL", that is a firearm license without an actual store front, and use it ONLY to purchase weapons for yourself and your buddies ( provided you transfer them on a form ), worst thing that can happen is have your license revoked.
The only time you would get into poop is if you have a FFL and transfer a weapon that's logged in your inventory without doing the paperwork.
Different states have different rules, but in states that allow paperless transfers between individuals there's nothing illegal about buying and selling guns legally.
It is always a good idea to know who you are buying from and who you are selling to.
