Okay, I just sold one of my rifles, and dropped the bomb on the wife that I want another Glock....the 20SF.

I know that 3/4Flap had problems with his G20, and someone else (I don't remember who?) recently mentioned they had misfeeds with their G20, as the rounds were feeding to the left. Is this a chronic problem? I am wondering if I should go with a 29 instead, But I really want a 20SF..

My 20SF has been flawless. I have shot a variety of reloads and a couple of different factory rounds through it. Even with loads that are 150gr at 1400 fps the recoil is not bad.

Problems? Yep. It's ugly!

If you wanna be happy for the rest of your life,
Never make a pretty woman your wife.
So from my personal point of view,
Get an ugly girl to marry you.
:tongueout:
Other than that, it's dependable, reliable, and accurate.

2000 rounds through my G20sf and it has been flawless, I wholeheartedly recommend the gun without hesitation or pause!

Have both the 20 and 29 sf. 2000 thru each no problems. Most accurate guns I have ever owned. Absolute tack drivers.

My G20SF has cost me over $6000.00

It single handedly turned me over to the dark side (from HK to Glock), and was responsible for the purchase of 8 more Glocks over the course of 3 years. It also made me buy a Rock Chucker Reloading Kit, a Dillon XL650 w/Case Feeder, several pounds of Longshot/Blue Dot/800X, thousands of bullets, thousands of pieces of starline brass, thousands of primers, and a custom G20LS slide with 10mm & 9x25 Dillon Barrels. It is a sickness...

i have been toying with the idea of a "SF" frame for my g20. any issues ? will my mags form my gen 3 work? It should be just frame switch correct?

That was me. :whistling: I think it was the schere +2 mag ext. that ehf'd it up (also had a stainless guide rod that I pulled for stock for now). I didn't shoot but two mags that way with two fail to feeds. Sad to say I've only shot 2 mags since with no fails. It's a stiff spring as required so I think it might have been part new operator error (I'm a auto pistol-tard). The mag springs feel much better stock and I even cycled a few mags to check it's chambering and spring reflex feel much better at the 15 stock cap. 20SF for me shoots really easy, a few shots with G21 and a few with the G20sf and I feel like i'm more precise with the 10mm.

I have about 850 rounds through my g20sf. IIRC, 3/4 Flap had problems with his G20sf using a lonewolf barrel didn't he? Anyway, my limited use has exhibited no problems to this point.
Yes, I think he did use a Lone Wolf barrel, though I am not sure if he tried to use it as a "fix" or not.

I am no expert on the subject, but from what I understand it should work. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Thanks all. I will be applying for my pistol permits this week (this in NJ).
When I ordered mine I asked at the gun shop if I could get any paperwork started. "Nope" he replied... I asked something about the "7 day waiting period". He laughed and said, "there is no such thing". Wyoming.

Both purchases took about 5 mins, to fill out one page of questions. And he made a 2 min phone call. With new "any one can CC" law I was good to go.

Eventually, I gotta get out of this state.
