Forgive my ignorance but what's a tweaker?
I wonder what his issue was? Was he looking for trouble, or a beating?
In answer to the tread topic, I've broken concealment twice and drawn once. Each time it was enough to end the encounter.
Ummmm, yes. A couple times with good results. Saw 6 of the biggest eyeballs you will ever see up in Anchortown years ago. Gang bangers were looking down the barrel of my .45. Time before that it was a .44 mag. Never saw a bunch of wanna be bad guys move so fast when they felt the concussion and saw the flame from the barrel. Wife asked later what would have happened if they had kept on coming. I told her the next round was going through the big guys chest. He was the apparent leader of the band of misbehavers.
Well guess you were right.
I have posted one of mine too dang many times. It gets the heart going, and the fear going. Not as much on what is going on but what is likely to happen if you are forced to shoot.
If I shoot someone they have to FORCE me to shoot them.
I have drawn my weapon more times than I can count and have been shot at by the Mexican Military. And no, I don't care to share the stories either. Also, I read the Op wrong. I thought it said any LEO. Long day.
Seriously? Is this a joke?
Jesus...just curse a little and drive around him or stop and wait. You put your family in a dangerous sitsuation.
As for me, no. I did have to draw twice when I was on duty as a Security Officer though, but that's "In Uniform", not necessarily as a "Civilian" (yes, I know Security is Civilian).
You must have skipped his next post explaining his situation of how their cars were positioned...
Twice. Both on my property. I once owned close to 30 acres of pasture and timbered land mix.
It's amazing to me how the folks from the city come out to the woods and think they can come on any land they want and take wood, plants, shoot- whatever they feel like doing. And then take an attitude when you tell them it's private property and they need to leave.
A person high on meth-amphetamines. Pretty common in our neck of the woods sadly. They tend to steal what ever they can to support their habit. The one that selected our home/property found out that was a very, very bad idea that could have ended much worse than it did.
We have the same problem here... although my patrols have been getting the message out that our neck of the woods is off limits.
Maybe it's just me, but if I started to draw my gun and then felt that I should leave before the police got there I would begin to think that maybe I should not have started to draw the gun.
Tantrix doesn't carry a gun...he's the cajun Chuck Norris.
I hear ya brother. I posted "No Trespassing" only to find them riddled with bullet holes.
You're a better man than I am, I won't give them warning shots.
I sure hope so! At least you weren't trigger happy or we'd be reading about you in the newspaper
Cut off the head and the body dies
If they FORCE you too shoot them then let "god sort em' out" in the end
