    Hi-

I will be traveling to Nevada and Utah in a couple of months and it is my intention to bring one of my guns as my state cc license has reciprocity.

I own "The Travelers Guide to the Gun Laws of the 50 States". The book although great to own has some consfusing points.. One of which deals with CC in an automobile in Nevada.

The way I am reading it.. I CANNOT keep a gun "on my person concealed" in a car even if I have a CC license while in the state of Nevada..

    Is this correct? :dunno:

    Thanks in advance!

Wrong! Read the Nevada gun laws again.

You haven't mentioned the state that issued your permit so other issues may apply.

Any idea if I can fly into Nevada with a checked firearm.. I will be driving right out into Utah and staying in Utah when I am there... In other words, can I have it in the car without a licence while I am driving out of there?

Actually you can keep it in the car, cocked, locked and loaded, as long as it's not concealed on your person. Glove box, console, man purse, whatever that's all OK. You can also open carry if that's your desire. This is NV, not occupied Amerika.

The whole reciprocity thing sucks ***.
