Low life I know say he was posted at White House, he was enlisted. Mention this was bad duty, as he was constantly in Uniform Changing Mode. Thing that was the RED FLAG was the guy mentioned have to have 12 different Uniforms.

I know we mostly we see the Marines around the POTUS, some military officers, but this story does not float.

I say Low Life as he is retire USA, did some hard time in NM for a crime, let say I have suspicions about this story.

Most of what flow from his mouth is lies.

I've known some Army drivers (88M), who drove for ambassadors and dignitaries and such, at foriegn embassies, who got a clothing allowance for civilian clothing. They either drove in Dress uniform or nice civilian clothes while transporting said civilians. 12 different uniforms sounds kind of hokey too me though. If he has a DD 214, that would tell the story, although, he may say he lost it or something.

Also, the fact that he has done time doesn't pass the smell test. The Drivers [88Ms) who are selected for Embassy duties, General's driver, etc, are usually the cream of the crop and have to have a top secret security clearance. There are exceptions, but most of them are good, law abiding citizens.

What did he supposedly do there? I don't remember any military people there who could even remotely be considered a "low life". It was volunteered duty, tough to get, and nobody considered it anything less than a great privilege and honor to serve @ 1600 Pennsylvannia Ave. They were the cream of the crop.

Never or heard of anybody in the Army being detailed to the White House. I have known people who did presidential security EOD details (like checking areas for bombs when the president is staying there) and guys who were in the Old Guard in DC, but none ever claimed to have anything to do with the White House.

Lots of enlisted personnel in the White House Communications, Army, AF, and Navy. However, it is a very selectively manned organization requiring a TS-SCI clearance which you do not get with a shady past. However, these folks are mostly "behind the scenes folks." Think I would take this guy's claims with a very large bag of salt.

Ask him if he knows what a Yankee White background check is. If he doesn't know, then he's most likely, but not necessarily, lying to you.

Have to admit I was "detailed" there for awhile. Can't speak to the Uniform Changing Mode as I had a nice "clothing allowance" for appropriate civilian attire. I would say it was stressful to me as I've always been the anti-authoritarian type but always good at what I did, so pushback was plentiful, EER and NCOERs on occasion became heated dialogue before I signed.

Only twice in my career was I put in a situation where rater/senior rater BOTH hated me. That was stressful times. White House duty was self induced stress.

After that, I did the "beltway bandit" circuit. Fun times. . .even for enlisted.

Were those during the "don't ask/don't tell" days? Write a bad check and you were toast? Have you ever cheated on your spouse or significant other?

Have you ever hugged a member of the same sex? No? Not even a relative? I also lived in Congress Heights which made heading to work easier.

MD 197 was my route to work after I moved into Anne Arundel county.

Indeed. From a civilian perspective, one now realizes that an assignment or "stint" at the White House does not attest to anyone's level of professionalism, integrity, or competence, does it?

Well let’s say I asked as I did not serve in White House in Service. My service was in another branch.

Guy to story, said could be true, but guy has history of fibbing. Just another bs story.

Bro, if you served ANY amount of time in the military, you know people embellish their participation in the military. Period. When hasn't a member misrepresented their participation when a civilian says "thank you for your service?" It is what it is. I went to West Point. So what? How is that relevant? It aint. . . at least for me. Others may think it's relevant. . .pro or con.

Who cares really about anyone else's contribution to the military? Just another fishing tall tale or war story.

Well the person who told tale was world class lier, not emblisher.

Think the only time he spoke truth was when he said zero.

White House Transportation Team is full of 88M I worked with them in Bush visit to Desert Storm visit as well as WH commmuication Specialist. They were short hand and I drove the Secret Service all over Duhran from Consulate to Airbase . I knew the whole security set up for the presidents arrival.
