i've been holding off buying a new gen3 G26 for some time now,until Glock resolves any/all issues associated with gen4's and newer gen3's.i'm not interested in planking down $500.00+ on a new Glock,then having to send it back for it to run right or spending alot of time and aggravation swapping parts.i'm well aware most of the issues are with gen4,G19's/G17's although someone recently posted a thread on here regarding frequent brass to the face with a newer gen3 G26..any opinions,is a new gen3,G26 a safe bet at this time?all input welcome..

Not that i know of with the Gen 3 but yes with the Gen 4.

Gen 4 26 uses the same spring as the gen 3's. I've got a gen 4 and have had no problems at all. I believe it was mainly the bigger glocks having the problems

Yes newer Gen 3's are having some problems with case ejections. But the G26 Gen 3 or Gen 4 are fine..

I bought a Gen 3 26 with the dull finish at the end of August and it's worked fine.

Just got a new Gen 3 26, has the grippy gray slide finish with my GSSF coupon for $425. Shot 250 WWB with consistent ejection and no malfunctions.

Have had no issues with my late model gen3 g26. Just like my other older gen 3g26, its eats everything you put in it, and is very hungry. Buy it, shoot it, and be in awe of its polymer goodness!:supergrin:

I have a pretty new 26. Mine puts the brass about 2-3 feet behind my right shoulder. Every once in a while, one bounces off my shoulder. I had to take mine to Cabela's to fit a progressive press just to keep it fed!

I've been shooting a Gen3 G26 that was built in July and no problems after 600 rounds or so.

I have had mine now for about a year with 1200 to 1500 rounds through it with zero malfunctions.

I believe the spring issue was maining the G- 17's and 19"s.

No particular malfunctions reported with G 26`s, old or new. Mine bought 20 months ago with 2500 rounds through it without any single issue.

I would say, your safe with a new G26. I have never heard or seen any issues with them.
