Just curious how 'complete' a cleanup of Depleted Uranium leaves the area.

Any layman's summary of what ways the DU at Jefferson Proving Grounds might affect its re-use?

Do you think DU areas could ever be 'harvested' by a ne'erdowell for dirty bombs or other contamination?

As far as I know, this (cleanup) was never done. The mayor challenged them (gubmint) a while back about this.

So, an active/operational recreation area has potentially harmful DU remnants?

Dont quote me on anything but that was the topic of discussion a while back. A search on the local paper (Madison Courier) might turn up some answers for you. You writing a paper or something??
