I seen these floating around online and I really like the looks of both of them! Never owned a black or blued revolver, always stainless. I think they both look great and being performance center guns they should have nice triggers.

I rarely consider non stainless handguns unless they're older P&R or pre war models. Louisiana humidity can chew them up. That's for both wheelguns and semis.

But that's just me perhaps.

Yeah I really wish they made a stainless model.

They did.

1990s saw a 686P (686-4 maybe) 7 shot L Comp from the PC. You can still see them from time to time on auction sites. 3" barrel and IIRC, there was one variation that introduced 3 dot night sights and another that had dovetail front and rear sights.

Except to pay a hefty premium in the $1500 and up range however.

I have a 586 L Comp and a 66 F Comp...
Both have great triggers and balance nice.
586 is fairly heavy when loaded...7 rounds of .357.
