Probably not judging by the -3 on the thermometer this morning.
That's a fat little guy
I suppose you want to pinch his cheeks, too?
Excellent image !! DOF is spot-on, and very nice bokeh !
Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8 AF-D, yes this lens does have great bokeh. Nikon D200 with image optimize set to Vivid on a drizzly overcast day F3.2, 1/1000 at ISO 400.
Cropped from this original to compose the frame with rule of thirds:
well, I think the local Mocking Birds have hatched, but this guy, well, ummm...
Not sure what is up. One leg appears distended and his beak is also not exactly "there". But yep, spring is here...
IMO, your original crop was better. Waaaaaayyyyyyyy too much dead space in the second one. Besides it's basicaly dead center. If you wanted 'thirds', you should have just taken some off the bottom. IMHO.
Nipper, the second picture was the original. A dead picture with no composition. The original post was the one I cropped in order to make something order out of way too much dead space. That second picture sat on my computer for months before I decided to crop it.
