"Where he was found was not where he was shot, no way," Hafza told investigators. "He moved, had to move or someone dragged him."

An agent replied, "His spine was snapped. It was shot through. So he couldn't have moved."

"That's not where he was at," Hafza continued.

"No, no, Yousef. That's where he died," the agent said.

Hafza is charged with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder. His trial date has yet to be set.

He fled the scene. That's not how a defensive shooting ends. That's how you end up in jail.

Limited info. It does not look good for him. Road rage you call 911. You don't stop in remote areas. The few times it's happened to me. A fake, just change direction, let them overshoot exit. Most people can't drive.
You stop in well lit, populated area. (If you decide to stop). My car, trucks I like. But they are to protect, move me.
Yrs back in Tampa a guy lost it in heavy traffic. Kept faking ramming side of my car. Thing is it was my wife's side. I had her on 911. Once he actually hit me was the line. I couldn't go forward, back, he blocked right, so at @15 mph top speed I was stuck. (I decided he had checked every box but one) . He turned right and left down a road. I guess he realized that was his turn...

A deputy should know that the "stand your ground law" doesn't let you shoot somebody just because you say, "I was in fear for my life." Then again, that's probably the best defense he could come up with. I see prison in his future.

He seems as destined for prison as this thread is for the Furball Forum.

True story. Cops can't be seen making dumb moves and killing people on the front pages of GT.

The killer's name was Yousef Hafza? I can tell he's guilty.

I see it more as a PSA on SYG law in Florida.

This also happened in FL a few years back.......always pick a trial by jury maybe???

Restaurant owner gets robbed, gets in car, runs over and kills robber, gets out and taunts him, acquitted by a jury.

So you post to make it get moved so you can complain it got moved? Of course my post, you knee jerk responses will edge it further to FB. It's a limited info story. What is reported looks like he was very stupid. As a Police Officer at the time it makes him twice as stupid. (If facts as I understand them are correct)

    The original story is enough.

You saying "looks like he was stupid" is over the edge.

Good investigating because there are several things that do not make sense. The shooter is in trouble.
