These things have been popping up a lot lately, I'm sure this one will have no trouble bringing top dollar as well.
Thank heavens it doesn't have a rail....not sure what year they switched from Nowlin to SA bbl, but my guess is that it's a few years old.
The seller should have reinstalled the ambi before listing (unless the occasional rutard wants to see it altered. Even then, it would be best to return to original condition with the single in the pic). This is one pistol people don't like to see altered even in the slightest....even if it was by SACS
Is the flattened slide stop an option on those or standard?
Standard with the spec.
Just curious, where's the serial number on that Pro? I can see "CRG" but do not see a serial number. Mine says "CRG 1139" (from memory but it's close).
I think the last two are visible; doubt the seller would give the serial if I inquired. Understandable.
I find it completely funny about the serial number thing...OMG someone else knows the serial number on my gun. What, they're going to look it up and find out where you live? And then what, go to your house where the gun is store? Yeah, good plan...
That's not true, people like me would much rather have a Single sided safety and if they sent it the SACS AND had it recoated.... even better.
I have no use for an ambi safety. I prefer my 1911s without them.
I'm with you guys...I hate the ambi-safety and this thing looks pretty sweet without it. Wish I could afford it! Sadly, I may never have one...
I do not like ambi safeties as I drive a lot and somehow the seat belt will move the safety (rare but it has happened a couple times). NEVER had that happen with a standard safety.
I even prefer non-extended thumb safeties for carry, such as on my Delta:
The Springfield Pro bubble is about to burst!!!
Sell all now while the value is still high!!!
It will be the next real estate bubble ! Hahaha.
Totally agree, even funnier is that some of the dudes that block serial numbers probably leave the geotagging on.
'specially those TGO-thingies.
