I ordered the MI handguard directly from Midwest Industries. The bipod was ordered from Tactical Link. It is $104.95 there as compared to $109.95 most everywhere else. They are good people to order from as well.

MAGPUL makes the bipod in three different versions: M-LOK, Picatinny, and A.R.M.S. 17S.

I have had a chance. It worked well for me. I am very pleased with the product. MAGPUL's homework and engineering paid off. The M-LOK mount held solid. When the adjustment knob for the swivel is tightened al the way, it holds firm. I also like how lightweight and simple it is compared to the Harris bipods I have. Good bipod.

How do you hold out near the end of the rail with that bipod there?

If I need to support it, other than bench shooting, there is enough handguard for me to hold it just behind the bipod. Of course, I can always fold out the bipod and support it from the leading portion of the handguard. The main reason for having a bipod on any build I do is to shoot it from a position using the bipod. Since this is a RECCE type build using a SPR barrel, it will be shot more from a bipod supported position. Being light enough, I can support it by hand if need be. Remember, this is one of 42 ARs I own. I have many others that are not SPR type ARs and do not have bipods.
