    But, it's not a revolver.

I don't have many "grail" guns. Most of the time I'm just a "Ohhhh Bright, Shiny thing" buyer. One I used to see everywhere, until I decided I wanted one, was the 3913, Lady Smith. Single stack, 9mm, conventional DA/SA action, decocker/safety, with a bobbed hammer and grey grips. Once I decided I wanted one, I couldn't find one it seems.

(I know, I probably could have found one on Gunbroker in about five minutes, but the auctions just aren't for me. I like to look as much as I like to find.)

I found one late last week, and bought it home yesterday. I paid $400.00 for it which seemed reasonable to me. No idea what they go for elsewhere. I guess they were made in the early 90's maybe? I can't prove it of course, but I don't think it's ever been fired.

Very nice. My first semiauto was a 3904, which I sold in 1992. Wish I still had it. I'm a big fan of the gen 3 S&W autos.

I would have been happy to pay 400 for a 3913 in such fine condition.

You have a girl’s gun, haha.

No seriously, I dig 3rd gen Smiths. Congrats.

Nice I too decided I wanted one after they weren't everywhere. I always thought they hurt sales with they name marked on it.

I purchased a 4516, new in the box and as an impulse buy, sometime around 1995. It truly is a great handgun and has caused me to look for a 3913. I couldn't care less if it said "Lady
    Smith" on it or not.

It would be so nice if S&W would start making those 3rd generation autos again, instead of strictly plastic stuff, which has no soul.

I’ve had a 3913 since new in around 92 or so. It is probably my most accurate gun, and was my primary until I went Glock in 95.

I always wanted one of the later 3913NL versions, like this but without the Ladysmith markings. And a 3953.

Nice, definitely something interesting. Looks futuristic but in a retro sort of way, if that makes sense.

Well, yes I do. And a 642 Lady Smith to go with it. ;)

They made the same gun in a non Lady Smith configuration. The only difference was the color of the grips. They also made it in an "economy" model as the Model 908.

Nice purchase enjoy it, I owned a 3914NL for a while. Same gun as the 3914 Lady Smith but without the logo. was a good little easy to conceal pistol, no idea why i decided to sell it.

Did ya' buy a nice matching color ensemble and earmuffs to wear when you bring it to the range?

;) ...just kiddin', nice score 'Cajun man! It looks to be in beautiful shape. I'm quite fond of the 2nd and 3rd Gen 'Smiths mahself, particularly the full stainless models, and always have an eye out for them.

    Great pistol, even if metrosexual.
I have one like that, without the girly stuff.

I took it to the range this morning, and put 50? 60? rounds through it. I didn't count. I worked just as expected, which means no malfunctions of any kind. I didn't shoot it any worse than I do most other guns. ;)
