You said in the OP that you submitted the order 3 times...
Another Buds Guns Nightmare
Hope it gets all squared away. I’ve bought from Buds a few times and aside from abnormally long processing to ship times, I haven’t had any issues.
One of the problems for Bud's is that the IT guy who set up their online system no longer works there and has his own thing.
This is how fake news gets started.
What kind of thread is this??? You got a problem with Bud's??
Last experience is too long to relate. Never again!
Not sure about Bud's.
But yeah, Hickock 45's videos are too long.
Never had a issue using them..i think ive used them 3X all 3X were good to go no issues at all and best price available.
Hmmm, your title is a little damning regardless of how many times you pressed buy. Submitting the order times three has its suggestion as well.
Not a customer of Buds nor a subscriber to Hickok, but I have read your thread. Possibly you were trying to get even for your negative experience, conclusion drawn.
I ended up submitting an order three times. Same thing happened. Never indicated completed.
well...you answered your own question.. Now if this were ME and ive used Buds..I may also have done it 2 possibly 3 times but id also known just to check on it and call when they were in to be sure what happened..and then id just tell them or CC to nix the 2 other mis-orders....yeah internet **** sometimes sucks...but thats a known..
USAA is great.
This could have been a glitch on your internet as much as it could be their site.
Be patient when clicking the BUY NOW button.
Glad it's resolved.
I ordered a pistol from them last month. They banged my credit card within the hour but then took almost 3 weeks to ship it . Never again.
Forgot to say I called after 10 days went by and the CS lady said all is well .
it was three separate instances of ordering. not three attempts at the same session. IT talk.
How many times would you say you hit the Order button, in total?
Call and tell them. Easily determined, obvious and fairly common error. Takes about a minute to rescind. I always panic too, customer service is there for a reason.
I never messed with a computer til 2003. I was about 28 years behind then. Now I'm about 280 years behind in it. That's almost like Moore's law right there!
Went into Bud's, in Pigeon Forge, TN, last year.
My youngest son saw a Rem. 700 SPS in .308 and decided to buy it.
Everything was fantastic, until he produced his driver's license.
The guy behind the counter said that he couldn't/wouldn't sell to him, because we're residents of Maryland.
They had a decent price on Federal GMM in .308, and they wouldn't sell that to me.
"We won't sell to Maryland residents."
Apparently, due to Maryland's laws, they won't sell ANYTHING to Maryland residents.
I was born and raised near there.
Never heard of such a thing.
Wouldn't even sell a cleaning kit to us, because we live in Maryland.
Suits me just fine.
TWO sales lost that day.
Since then, also found out that Smoky Mountain Knife Works (right around the corner from Bud's, in TN) won't sell firearms to Maryland residents, either.
The worst that can happen is you got 3 new guns. I’m still waiting to see the problem with that
