Well, Carrolton and Thibodaux had theirs, so why not one for Anniston?
Time for the roll call.
I am planning to be there, Lawrence.
Too far for me to drive, or dangerously close to the CMP store.
Shoot GSSF early, then you only have ,maybe,3hrs at CMP.:whistling
I'll be there on Saturday. Driving up from the Pensacola area.
Besides Ed being a wimp, yes some of us will be there. I feel pretty sure DEJ/FL, Pharaoh, and I will be there and probably James5M and UncleBob. We might be able to strap Ed to the roof carrier.
like Jim said in another thread, can you see me being within 800 miles of a match and not stopping by to shoot? only question for me is what day, most likely drive up saturday and shoot at least two divisions and finish on sunday if i have to.
I should be there, hoping for a Alabama holster team again
With you and me, we have 2 for the Master team, if David shows up, we should be set. Pretty sure an Am Civ will be there.
I will be there. Trying to talk the young Dauphin into shooting his first match. I have a new G19 that he has taken a shining to. (Yes, it was an evil plot that is working.)
We will definitely take in the CMP.
You read my mind!!!
I have never been to a match before, but think I will go and shoot this one.
I also plan on bringing my daughter, who lives in Jacksonville, just up the road.
She is 22, and has been shooting a while, but never any competition. Should she do OK with this?
Anything I should plan on, or bring with me?
Anybody want to show a new guy and his daughter around??
Sounds like fun....never been to one and not a memeber of the GSSF, but if I came....what to expect??? Never shot in competition before do they have newbie events?
Our group "Team Carver Mounts" would be happy to show you and your daughter the "ropes" of GSSF match. We will be at the match Saturday and we are not hard to locate. Just look for the guys in the "Team Carver Mounts" shirts and hats and introduce yourselves!
We be happy to have you tag along!
I am planning on being there.
Jerry, they showed me around and I haven't been the same since. They will ask you to carry their stuff.
We at Alabama Holster will be more than happy to escort you and your daughter.
to Team Carver Mounts.
The match is geared to be newbie friendly. No special holsters needed, no running or drawing, no speed reloads and the amateurs shoot against other amateurs.
Ask Malladus about BamaTrooper!:embarassed: You have to watch out for those guys that shave there ankles!
Any chance the Carver Brothers are going to hang around until Sunday? I don't feel like I've been to a GSSF match if I don't get to visit with you guys.
You will probably see the "Team Carver Mounts" group on Sunday!
Looking forward to seeing you again ole classmate as long as I can sit behind you this time!
