I know DeSantis makes one. Has anybody used it? If so, what do you think of it?

    Can anyone rec. another maker?

If you do find a holster you're going to need some pretty baggy pants for effective concealment. A G27 or better yet a Kahr PM series would work much better for ankle carry if you can swing it.

Alessi probably would make one for your G30, if you go that way, and it is one of the best ankle rigs on the market imo.

I have a Galco ankle holster for my 27. However, I would also like to be able to carry my 30 in the same way. I am also looking at getting a 27 pocket holster. While I know the 30 won't fit in the pocket, I think it should be fine on the ankle. Perhaps someone who has tried it can tell us whether or not I am thinking correctly.

Are you saying the 30 is not a subcompact? I bought my 30 as a ccw to use instead of my 27 on occasion.

I wear slacks or suits at work, so there's more room to conceal than with jeans. You would never know I had my 27 in an ankle holster unless I told you.

    I am 5'10" about 190lbs.

The 30 is the size of 19/23/32 but a bit wider. I hide mine daily with no problem, but I've never seen anybody pull off ankle carry. It's strictly an IWB for me.

When I ordered an ankle holster for my G27, I asked Lou Alessi if he's made very many ankle holsters for G30's. He confirmed my suspicion that not many people go that route. The G30 is a little chunky and heavy for ankle carry. I wear mine IWB, fanny pack or SmartCarry. My G27 is as big as I want on my ankle.
