My papa can do that. He is only 70 though
That really made my day. tom.
I've always wanted to do that. Blow all the "hang arounds" away. Too bad that I'll never be that good.
Name that tune? "Besame Mucho". (It means "Kiss me very much") The old guy was probably a professional musician, maybe even still is. I'll bet he has some stories to tell.
I started taking classical guitar lessons in 1964. Got to book #3, then decided that I liked the Beatles better than learning scales. Should have stayed with it. I've got arthritis bad in my left hand, so my playing is limited to about 30 minutes, then it starts to hurt. As I've always said, if I'd have quit my construction job 30 years ago and kept doing drugs, I could have been a passible rhythm guitar player. You are right, that guy is a pro even at his age. Amazing.
Very cool,i wish i would not have given up on my music lessons 40+ years ago.
Dang! Grandpa can shred...
Same here. I made a half-assed attempt to learn when I was about 17 and realized that unless you're one of those who it comes naturally to, it takes a lot of practice and dedication. I gave up.
