    I started taking classical guitar lessons in 1964. Got to book #3, then decided that I liked the Beatles better than learning scales. Should have stayed with it. I've got arthritis bad in my left hand, so my playing is limited to about 30 minutes, then it starts to hurt. As I've always said, if I'd have quit my construction job 30 years ago and kept doing drugs, I could have been a passible rhythm guitar player. You are right, that guy is a pro even at his age. Amazing.

    Same here. I made a half-assed attempt to learn when I was about 17 and realized that unless you're one of those who it comes naturally to, it takes a lot of practice and dedication. I gave up.
