Sorry for your loss. Always tough when your 4 legged children pass.
My condolences on your loss! Looks like a fine dog. He will await your arrival no matter how long it takes.
My condolences. I lost my little Pomeranian about 5 years ago, I still think about her.
She was part of our family. When you have a pet that you love dearly, the love is returned unconditionally. Sorry for your loss.
My condolences on the loss of your furry friend, Jake. you gave him a good forever home.
We are so very sorry for your loss. Our kids are rescue pups and they are family. RIP Jake!
I'm sorry for the loss, but grateful for the years of love and companionship!
Dogs are so very awesome!
So sorry for your loss, HH. Jake was certainly blessed to have you as you were to have him. I too believe he is with God and happy and well now. You are in my prayers.
I still miss our little Buster. He was part of our family and it's hard to let them go.
Sorry for the loss of your friend. You have others but they never fill the hole left behind. Condolences on your loss.
HH, sorry for your loss. You done a good deed by adopting him. He'll be waiting on you across the bridge. I always said I like dogs better than most people.
May you be the person your dog thought you were!
Cute dog. One of those faces that needs to be grabbed.
21:15 here now, and the GSD is not quite sure what's going on. They didn't really like eachother as Jake the coonhound was the consummate ex-con and very wary of other dogs and very protective of his space. Rufus the GSD is just starting to figure out there are beds and spots in front of the fireplace that are now his without fear of snarling and snapping. His dynamic has changed remarkably in the last thirty-six hours. He's still searching for Jake but is also realizing he is know the head of th realm now. It's been interesting to watch and his evolving dynamics are an entertaining diversion from the grief. The three of us are all going camping this week and it will be good for all of us. Thanks for the kind words, GT gents...they really helped! Ray (HH)
Rest in Peace, Ancient Jake.
Thank you for giving Ancient Jake so many comfortable years.
I'm sorry your buddy is gone.
It's hard to lose a furry friend but you did good making the second part of his life easier and better than the first half.
Sorry for your loss. Was a great dog!
It's such a hell of a thing when a man loses his dog. It's my firm belief that some of us were chosen to give dogs like Jake a home, even if the dogs can't always show their appreciation. We've still been chosen, so that's what we'll continue to do.
What a life. Thankful you and yours were there to help him enjoy it.
He was my wife's dog. I'm guessing his coolness towards me and other men may have indicated abuse from previous men. She's taking it hard, I might actually cuddle again without the growl now. HH
