It's time to cut loose Brett Kavanaugh. Even if they succeed in pushing him through the Senate, it will drive centrists away in 2018 and possibly even 2020. The whole lovable scoundrel privileged white boy angle doesn't play anymore. Time to move on to someone that everyone can actually get behind. Amy Barrett has the qualifications and the track record. You people need to decide if you want to have a future for conservatism in America or if you want to follow a scorched earth policy all the way down to oblivion (and then the left takes over completely). Decide now, but don't say you weren't warned.

From what I understand, she does NOT have a track record. Very few rulings or some such. And ‘the whole loveable scoundrel privileged white boy’ schtick kind of undermines any political advice you have.

**** that. Not another inch. If we give in here at this point with a majority in the Congress we might as well let Ds get back control. If you think somehow Ds will find a sense of decency or start respecting the rule of law just because a woman is nominated you’re fooling yourself. Resist at any cost means just that. Not resist white guys it means anything and everything and everyone Trump nominates. This is such bull****.

It's not even about Kavanaugh anymore. Now it's about preventing a precedence of automatic guilt for any man from the lips of lying leftist whores. Kavanaugh is a symbol of innocent until proven guilty, and like every other good and decent thing in the world, leftists are trying to destroy that. This is just as much about that symbolism for them as it is for us. Legitimizing the presumption of guilt so they can transcend from "shadowbanned on Twitter" to "imprisoned for wrongspeak."

I have an opinion, yes, but my analysis here is independent of it. Do you want Kavanaugh regardless of how deep the cost is going to be? Because it is going to cost the right everything. Doesn't really matter if you think Kavanaugh is guilty or not (it's a job interview, not a trial). If the Senate succeeds in pushing him through it will have repercussions for years to come that will affect control of Congress and perhaps even the White House. Simply put, do you want there to be a future for conservatism in this country or do you want Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court? Because you don't get to have both.

We all may live in our bubbles so who knows the real numbers, but I see far more independents disgusted with the hearings than I see those who believe them. Independents tend to be "normal" people, in that they're at least intelligent and decent enough to not be a leftist. Normal people want justice and a stable government. The Feinstein and Booker's Most Unethical Show on Earth circus is not what normal people like to see in government.

The repercussions are by giving in to the Dems you will NEVER get another coversative judge at any level of the judiciary.

Oh, just falsely accuse a conservative judge and it’s over. My G-d, I haven’t read anything so clueless since I tried to read Hillary’s book, “What Happened.”

Not only that, he has given up fighting for an innocent person, so the left can do this to the next man nominated for anything.

She can be the next one, and sit beside Kavanaugh on the SCOTUS.

Whatever motives you may elect to subscribe to me, I found his testimony insincere and his tears those of a crocodile. So, I'm not giving up on a person I believe to be innocent. Is it possible that I'm mistaken? Yes, which is why I'm glad Senator Flake stood his ground and insisted on further investigation. If that investigation uncovers anything that falsifies Dr. Ford's testimony and verifies Judge Kavanaugh's then I will re-evaluate the situation with an open mind. Will you do the same if the evidence plays out the other way?

You pinko hats sure like to get pushed around.

Pretend to have some guts and fight for what's right.

Political shenanigans aside, Brett belongs on the SCOTUS if anyone does.

    Stupid idea.

First of all it would take too long.

Secondly, the Dems would just make up **** about her too.

Third, Kavanaugh is innocent. This has been a political assassination from day one. If you can’t see that, you’ve got no business voting. Worse, if you can see that and are ok with it, you’ve got no business being a citizen, because you don’t believe in the Constitution or the rule of law.

    Absolutely NOT !

Giving in to these *******s is NOT the answer. It never has been, and the Republicans have suffered from being the party that wants to compromise for LONG ENOUGH.

    Elections have consequences.

It's time to act like we are in the majority!
