I love Wal-Mart but, if you live in a sales tax state like Texas, you have to add 8.25% to that Wal-Mart price to get your actual cost. Ordering from ammoman.com or any other onliner is tax free, unless you live in the same state as the seller and your state has a sales tax.

    Something to consider.

    I get my 9mm from Academy, $3.99/50 CCI Blazer. That's $40 a case(500), or $80 for two(1K).

3.99 is their sale price and I am not sure if they will ship. Needless to say, that is a hell of a deal.

At my local store it's their everyday price. They have a store locator on their site. If you have one near you, it's a good thing.:) I sure am glad they are here for me. I buy most of my fishing, hunting and ammo from Academy.

Natchez has special case pricing on Blazer and American Eagle in its October catalog.

    9mm Blazer - $91.80, plus shipping
    .45 ACP Blazer - $139.80, plus shipping

You will have to call. I don't think that the pricing is on its web site.

It's not on their site. I just ordered 500rds of .45 and then get their October flyer with my order and see if I'd bought another 500rds I would have gotten it for alomost a buck a box cheaper.

Oh well, incentive to shoot up this 500 and buy a 1,000.

Also, I purchased some .357sig ammo from Proload last week also. Had the best price I could find on that caliber. Plus he is a GT sponsor and a real nice guy to talk with. I don't remeber the price, but I think it was $9.80/box.

Hey striderglock where do you live?
I bought 300 rounds of the Blazer from Academy on Friday ($4.99 per 50). I asked the guy if they ever go on sale for $3.99 and he said no, that 4.99 was the lowest price.
I don't doubt you, i'm wondering why all Academy stores don't put that sale on and maybe I could find out. Thanks.

Rainman, the store at 820 and 121 has them for $3.99, it seems to be a north texas thing. I was told by an academy employee they dropped the price to spite bass pro and their sub $4 winchester sale.
