Looking over my stock of ammo, I've got more 22lr than anything else. 3X more 22lr than anything else. Probably due to over zealous restocking after the great 22lr shortage of a couple years ago. Impulsive purchases for sure. All other calibers, pistol and rifle and shotgun ammo trailing the 22lr.

So what's deepest in your stash? Was it planned, or is it just a product of impluse buying?

Looked over my inventory Saturday. I am pretty well stocked on 9 and 10mm. I could use some 22lr, but have lots of 22 magnum.
Where I am really good is 30.06. I think I could arm a battalion.

Nothing yet. Planning to buy bullets and primers this year, though.

I think the foundation of my home would crack if I added even a single additional .22LR round to my stash.

I just ordered another 500 rounds of 7.62 x 51 from Target Sports so I should be sitting pretty solid for the fall of civilization. Just gotta refresh my wife's memory on loading mags for me before the shooting begins.
Don't wanna be in a firefight and have empty mags!

I have plenty of daisies to stick in gun barrels should things get that bad.

But think about this for a second guys. None of us are going to be living out some Rambo scenario in which we fight off hordes of looters.

Living through more than a few gunfights is a pretty tall order, especially if you don't have a lot of friends to fight with you.

I'm from the government... Just here to help.

Say, how much ammo do you have, and where is it stored?

I'm good on everything, but I was waiting before the craziness to pick up some CCI Standard Velocity on sale. I waited too long. Sold out everywhere.

I am more worried about availability. The year after Sandy Hook was a huge wake-up, to me. I enjoy shooting, moreso with ammunition.

As far as some ridiculous scenario, there is a group of us who have agreed to work together. Most of us are or were cops, firefighters, mechanics and a few nurses. When you add spouses, we get a teacher and a few other handy expertise that would be handy as most of us have children. Would it actually work? Probably not, but it’s better than going it alone.

I don't have much of anything. Plenty to work through one life-threatener though. I like to think I should have some fundamentals established well enough to neutralize a threat without having to expend 17 then load in 19 more!

I probably have the most in .223 and 5.56 NATO. Not really for warfare purposes, but for trips to the gun club. I just can't be conservative with .233 cartridges. They're like Lays chips!
