State's Rights have precedent here. The feds can only assist the governor if asked in usually.

Of course. I don't think he really believes what he posted.

Nothing has changed in the guns and ammo Dept, nor will it unless Trump is re-elected and then very slowly.

Bradley is very correct! Every oppressive action that’s been taken under COVID can be traced back to a Democrat Governor or Mayor.
I wish that were true, but it's not.

I live in a conservative state with a pretty good conservative governor. He did the lockdown at the advice of the Trump administration and Trump has owned that event repeatedly. As a matter of fact, he's openly used the lockdown to claim he saved millions of lives.

Our Governor did do the smart thing and left the mask mandates up to local officials.

Some truth to what you are saying, but the left branded Trump a lunatic for pushing to get things open as early as he did. They were fine for things to remain locked down all summer and fall. Trump was not.

Trumps oppression during this is a mere blip on the screen compared to the blue state Governors and Mayors.

Some truth is not correct. Everything I posted is easily verifiable and 100% accurate.

Trump did realize the lockdown was crippling America and he was right to call for it to end when he did, but he still did it. Looking at it now through the lens of history and hindsight being 20/20, it was probably one of the most significant and costly mistakes in American history.

I'm a Trump supporter because he's the best man for the job right now, but he owns the lockdown and it will go down forever as one of the worst Presidential decisions in history, exacerbated by some Democrat governors.

I feel too many people are making too big a deal over this. Ammo will return to the shelves within a few months of the beginning of Trump’s second term.

And, eventually, another panic will strike us, and lots of folks will again get caught with their pants down. Then there will be shortages and exorbitant prices on guns and/or ammo accompanied by endless internet wailing.

Rinse and repeat.

I’m not trying to argue or contradict the accuracy of your claim but can you name a potential leader from either party who would have taken a more conservative approach than Trump did? With the media whirlwind and Fauci blabbering daily about the millions that were gonna die?

Trumps not perfect, but I don’t think we can name a past president who would have done less and most would have done more in this situation.

I was looking for 410 ammunition for my Bond Arms 2 Round Derringer, 0.410/45 Colt. I called several stores. I only found 2 boxes and it was not 00.

I did find some 45 Colt.

Nice guns! I’ve never tried Derringers but always wanted to

I think it has more to do with the government overreach that has occurred under the Trump administration. Unprecedented lockdowns and trampling on civil liberties in modern times, for example, all under Trump.
This scares the hell out of me. If a longtime GT member can be so ill-informed, no wonder the country is imploding. Nobody cares about the truth anymore.

In recent weeks I have gone to Wal-Mart, Bass Pro, and several local stores. No handgun ammo to be found. Plenty of shotgun shells, however.

That is some seriously low quality bait.
The next 4 years are going to be very hard on you.
The election is over already? Don't understand the ability of the left to cheat their way to a win.

My guess is that ammo prices will continue to go up and availability will be difficult until Spring.Firearms will still be difficult to find and bring a premium.I am not a "doom & gloom"poster, just how I see things happening.

When Trump gets re elected and this all blows over you will see ammo like it was again. When that happens stock up as no whining allowed next time. This is my 3rd ammo/reloading shortage and I am not that bright as it took me the first 2 times to learn. But learn I did.
