Picked up a box of Federal Hydra-Shok® JHP 230gr ammo for carry ammo, this stuff is awesome, give 35 bucks for 50 rounds. My Range Officer eats this up and spits it out flawlessly. This was fired through a gallon jug of water then into news paper, gonna leave a mark for sure:alex::supergrin:

I've always liked that ammo, Okie. It's not the hottest stuff in the world, but it's high quality and seems to perform well. :)

Okie you are consistently one of the nicest people ever.
I wish you the very best throughout the holiday season and if you lived closer to me, I would even share my reloads with you. After a long day, you always pick me up with your posts and threads.

I don't doubt it! But few are as consistently kind as Okie.
    He's a gem!

Hydra Shok has been my favorite pistol ammo since the early 90's or so. Every test I've ever seen makes them look good.

Good review Okie!! I've been thinking of switching to those in my STI Spartan- Currently running Golden Sabers... Will have to grab up a box and run them through the function test.
