PMC 115gr JHP. The softest 9x19 factory load and quite accurate.

I agree with Tom, but I went on the assumption that the person was going to use factory ammo and not reload. Custom loads are always better.

    AustinGlocker,

Your primary concern in GSSF is reliability, and I mean 100% reliability. Secondary concern is accuracy. PMC is fine factory ammo. When it comes to factory ammo, I've always liked Federal's American Eagle, just because I like Federal primers. One choice to avoid is WinClean.

I tried American Eagle, Winchester and Remington UMC in my G26 today and found that the Remington UMC 115 gr had the least recoil and best accuracy of any ammo I've tried to date. American Eagle was very accurate but recoil was even more than the Winchester. Winchester had the best price. The G26 was just as accurate as my 17.

Remington UMC had the highest recoil of all. American Eagle and Winchester both had lighter recoil, additionally UMC was the dirtiest. I wonder if something has changed?

Don't know if it has changed because today was my first time using Remington (115 GR MC L9MM3) or American Eagle (115 GR Full Metal Jacket AE9DP). My son labeled each mag and loaded each with 5 rounds and that way only he knew what load I was firing. After a couple of mags, I could easily tell the difference in the American Eagle and the Remington UMC. Maybe I got hold of some UMC's with a reduced charge. Like I said this was my first time using either. I'm looking for the lightest, accurate and reliable load without having to reload to shoot in GSSF. I will purchase one more box of each and do the same test again.
