Has anyone tried this belt for EDC? I see a few reviews that mention using it for carry but nothing about long term use as a carry belt.

Looks pretty cheap to me. I'd save a little longer, and get an Aker B21 from copquest.

The Amish make good stuff and tend to buy good stuff. The reviews look good also. Given the price, seems worth a try.

1/4 inch thick is pretty heavy duty, looks like a good deal.

Providing it's top quality leather, that's as thick as some gun belts.

Thickness doesn't necessarily mean strength. A good gun belt will be two layers of strong, thinner leather glued and sewn together. This provides shear strength, like plywood.
